By accessing and using our website, tour packages, taxi rental services, hotel bookings, sightseeing tours, and other travel-related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. About Us
Northeast Trails is a travel company offering customized tour packages, taxi rental services, hotel bookings, sightseeing tours, airport transfers, and travel-related services across Northeast India, Bhutan, and neighboring destinations.
Booking Policy
All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
Customers must provide accurate personal and travel information at the time of booking.
Northeast Trails reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking due to incomplete information, non-payment, or unforeseen operational circumstances.
Payment Terms
An advance payment is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule before or during the tour.
Failure to complete payment within the specified time may result in cancellation of the booking.
Payments should be made through the payment methods approved by Northeast Trails.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.
Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation period and the policies of hotels, transport providers, and other service providers.
Processing charges, bank charges, and non-refundable booking fees may be deducted from the refund amount.
No refunds will be provided for no-shows, missed departures, unused services, or early termination of the tour.
Travel Documents
Travelers are responsible for carrying valid government-issued identification.
Guests must obtain all required permits, visas, and travel documents before the commencement of the tour.
Northeast Trails shall not be responsible for denied entry due to incomplete or invalid documentation.
Changes to Itinerary
- Tour itineraries may be changed due to weather conditions, road closures, natural disasters, government regulations, strikes, or operational reasons.
- We reserve the right to substitute hotels, vehicles, routes, or sightseeing activities with suitable alternatives when necessary.
- Such changes shall not entitle travelers to compensation or refunds.
Transportation Services
Vehicles are allocated according to the selected package and group size.
Drivers are instructed to follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence or misconduct.
Delays caused by weather, traffic, road conditions, or mechanical issues are beyond our control.
Hotel Accommodation
Hotel check-in and check-out timings are governed by the respective hotel’s policies.
Room allocation is subject to availability.
Personal expenses including room service, laundry, telephone charges, meals not included in the package, and other incidental expenses are the responsibility of the guest.
Limitation of Liability
Northeast Trails acts only as an intermediary between travelers and third-party service providers including hotels, transport operators, guides, and activity providers.
We shall not be held liable for:
Flight, train, or transport delays and cancellations.
Natural disasters, landslides, floods, earthquakes, or severe weather conditions.
Government restrictions or political disturbances.
Loss of luggage, valuables, or personal belongings.
Injuries, illness, accidents, or death occurring during travel.
Acts, omissions, or service failures of third-party suppliers.
